In order to find a solution to this, in this project research center, from a bioaerosol analysis using the latest technologies, a new air index &#8220;H&#8217;OME (meaning the total interaction between microorganisms in the living environment (Home microbiOME) and human-microorganisms (HolobiOME)) , will be introduced. The behavior of suspended particles, human behavior, and housing design are comprehensively examined, and microbiologically safe and secure living environment and leading city developing and planning based on this new indicator are jointly conducted and achieved by young, interdisciplinary, international, and industry-academia-public research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relationship between human environment and microbial environment will be analyzed to achieve the following purposes. In this study, we will quantitatively understand the indoor distribution and transmission route of microbial communities including molds, bacteria and viruses, and clarify the relationship between the indoor physical environment and the way of human living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Elucidation of the relationship between the physical environment and microbial communities due to differences in living styles in experimental housing where the living styles can be controlled. In kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, etc., indoor temperature and humidity, ultraviolet (UV) amount, indoor airflow measurement with a multi-point anemometer, and culture method of bacteria inhabiting the surface of interior materials and equipment are carried out to analyze microorganisms. Identify factors in the indoor physical environment that affect the distribution and propagation of the community.<br><br>In kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, etc., indoor temperature and humidity, ultraviolet (UV) amount, indoor airflow measurement with a multi-point anemometer, and culture analysis of bacteria inhabiting the surface of interior materials and equipment are carried out to analyze microorganisms. Identify factors in the indoor physical environment that affect the distribution and propagation of the community.<\/li><li> Elucidation of the relationship between the physical environment and microbial communities due to differences in outdoor weather, housing, and living styles in existing houses. The same analysis as 1) will be conducted for traditional houses (Kyomachiya, thatched-roof houses), detached houses in Okinawa, and apartment houses in Kyoto. At the same time, we will also conduct a questionnaire survey on the area, housing, way of living, outbreak of microorganisms (mold, etc.), and health condition. In addition, numerical analysis considering the propagation of bioaerosol is performed by using methods such as thermo-moisture property analysis, numerical fluid analysis, and ventilation network calculation, and the measurement results of the indoor physical environment and bioaerosol distribution obtained by actual measurement are reproduced.
